The University Recruiting Team is searching for an Internship Program Manager. If you're someone who is interested in learning about recruiting, talent development and program management and training, this might be the role for you.

The Internship Program Manager will assist with the end to end recruitment and program management for the Global Tools & Storage Summer Internship Program. This individual will design and execute the planning and implementation of a 10 week summer intern program focused on developing technical and leadership skills while delivering results. The Internship Program Manager will design and coordinate training sessions for business partners, on-boarding for interns, and provide general oversight of daily operations of the summer internship program. Through our diverse internship opportunities, we aim to align high potential individuals into a full-time hire pipeline for Stanley Black & Decker's future talent needs

Successful candidates must be able to manage priorities against a timeline, thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, and deliver results with excellence. The best candidates will draw on knowledge of Talent Acquisition, University Recruiting, and functional areas of the business, forging partnerships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners. They should demonstrate a proven track record of exceptional collaboration, organization, and time management. They should be detail oriented, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing excellence in the candidate and intern experience.

This position is located at GTS in Towson MD. and will require 25% travel for recruiting initiatives.

Internship Program Manager Responsibilities:

* Manage end to end process of the program from start to finish
* Assessing intern hiring needs with HR Business Partners
* Leading University recruiting strategy and execution
* Developing University Partnerships to drive employer branding and candidate engagement
* Drive diversity recruiting and Partner with key student organizations on campus to increase diversity talent pipeline
* Setting up interviews and maintaining constant communication with candidates throughout process
* Maintain accurate job posting through external and internal recruiting platforms
* Lead Intern Manager Training and Intern Orientation, program management, etc)

2. Partner with Facilities, Security, IT, and HR on preparation of interns start date;

* Ordering laptops
* Setting up network IDs
* Preparing human resources forms for start day
* Ensuring space for interns
* Lead execution of Internship Orientation
* Lead all internship engagement initiatives
* Day 1 On-Boarding
* Development Workshops and Leadership Talks
* Internship Report Outs
* Internship Innovation Challenge
* Employee Resource Group Overviews
* Presentation Skills Training
* IPAT Training at SBDU
* Networking events

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

* Bachelor's degree in any discipline but with a passion for talent development
* 5+ years of experience in university recruiting, talent development, HR or a related field
* Proven success in managing complex and multi-faceted programs with the ability to drive projects through completion. Strong project management skills and experience, including managing internal stakeholders and external parties, and multiple initiatives and projects at once.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and writing skills appropriate for target audience
* Seeking opportunity for career growth and interested in learning recruitment strategy, human resources, and talent development
* Strong interviewing, assessment, and evaluation skills
* Ability to think strategically and analytically; finding ways to grow and improve

recruiting processes
* Strong computer skills including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Must be able to maintain confidentiality

* Willingness to travel - 25%
