Position Overview:

Within the Hand Tools & Storage division of Stanley Black & Decker we are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Hand Tools & Storage team. Working with the CHT Team the ideal candidate will provide the full range of day to day administrative support, calendar management, including scheduling meetings using telepresence and audio conferencing, travel planning and expense management as well as site support and communications.

This position requires attention to detail, organization and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Major Responsibilities:

* Calendar and Meeting Management
* Answering, screening and directing incoming calls
* Travel

o Coordinating domestic and international travel

o Assist in travel logistics for Construction team new hires

o Assist in travel logistics for out of country employees (construction team - Asia & EANZ)

o Book cars for delivery/pickup for Southington employees through Avis

* Communications

o Set Up/ Facilitate WebEx and Adobe meetings

o Manage sharepoint site for construction team

o Prepare presentations and reports using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

o Manage the Southington workplace account - keep it up to date with site events, new hires, etc.

o Point of contact for IT related questions (specific to TP and Stanley Room)

* Expenses

o Process Concur expense reports

o Work directly with accounts payable team to act as "middle man" for vendors

o Setup new vendors in both Ariba and SAP

* Events & Activities

o Facilitate site specific meetings ex) global communication meetings, Southington communication meetings, networking events, etc.

o Point of contact for employees visiting from other offices

o Manage the Southington site relationship with Junior Achievement

o Manage Stanley Room calendar/TP events

* CHT team support

o Order samples through metastorm

o Create Internal Order numbers for FARs through metastorm

o Create all tooling PO's for all HTAS

o Assist in setting up interviews for Construction team

o Coordinate CHT team events and team trainings

* Project Management of a $90 million growth opportunity with Home Depot

o Organize meetings including agenda development and action tracking across the CHT

o Develop CHT SKU list and one schedule for launch of the Stanley exclusive program

o Work with channel team, sales, product managers, and supply chain to ensure on time delivery of products, promotions, and marketing materials to ensure a seamless launch of the Stanley program.

o Coordinate presentation development for reviews with the merchant.

* Support the Electronic Tool GCX content and digital marketing launch

o Order products and manage logistics to support digital marketing reviews, launch kits, and media mailing.

o Organize packaging review with internal stakeholders and end users to verify messaging. This includes ordering samples, capturing feedback, and communicating changes to the GCX brand team.

o Track action plans to ensure timeline delivery of paper & digital marketing content.
