Title: Marketing & Employee Relations Coordinator Type of


Stanfield + O'Dell, P.C. is a dynamic and progressive large local consulting and CPA firm in Tulsa, OK. S+O has earned its reputation as a firm of integrity and excellence through 60+ years of serving clients throughout the United States and abroad. We are currently seeking a Marketing and Employee Relations Coordinator to take a lead role in innovating and executing firm marketing communications and procedures, including public relations, social media, special events, niche marketing activities, and employee business development activities. The Marketing & Employee Relations Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring that the firm has well qualified and highly motivated staff by assisting in recruiting and development. This position will consult with shareholders and staff to ensure a culture of growth, teamwork, recognition, learning and life balance is achieved.

The main responsibilities of this position includes, but is not limited to the following:

Business Development: Determine recommended approaches to develop new marketing efforts. Develop relationships with firm clients and prospects, including attending national conferences. Work with staff in developing their annual business development plans. Drive the proposal process. Manage CRM software.

Communications: Responsible for all firm-generated communications, including electronic newsletter, e-mail blasts, and mailings with consistent use of firm message and logo. Public Relations and Social Media: Regularly update all social media venues. Develop contacts with the press and publications.

Special Events: Develop and coordinate all details for seminars, lunches, speaking engagements, receptions and mixers, trade shows, etc. Coordinate firm events and celebrations.

Human Resource Planning: Ensure firm has a talent pool of qualified and interested staff capable of more advanced responsibilities. Develop and update standard job descriptions, salary and benefit surveys. Recruitment & Orientation: Coordinate the interview and on-boarding processes. Liaison with accounting societies and colleges.

Employee Relations & Performance Management: Research and respond to personnel and human resource related inquiries.

Career Development, Mentoring & Training: Assist in the development and management of a professional development plan for all professional staff.

QUALIFICATIONS: Marketing or related degree. Experience in a service provider organization. Possess outstanding oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented. Able to organize and carry out a wide variety of tasks in a timely fashion. Comfortable taking direction from several supervisors and negotiating their requirements. Demonstrate sound judgment and understands when handling of sensitive and confidential information. Forward thinking. Demonstrate ability to work with little direct supervision. Proficient with business office equipment and all Microsoft Office software products. Additional experience with web design is a plus.
