Job Description

Overview

BASIC FUNCTION - The auditor reviews the control processes designed by management to assure:

* the reliability and integrity of information,
* compliance with policies and regulations,
* safeguarding of assets,
* economical and efficient use of resources,
* achievement of established operational and financial goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Although independent of operations management, auditors must be comfortable interacting with various levels of management and providing objective and timely recommendations to operations management.

Auditors will perform field audits at urban, airport, transportation, and regional office operations to ensure that all such operations are complying with company policies and procedures. Location audits are performed using a well-structure audit format. All field audits will be followed up by an audit report submitted to the Operational Audit Manager and the field management team. The audit report will provide observations and recommendations.

Auditors will, from time to time, be asked to work on special assignments such as consulting services for existing or prospective clients, investigation work involving suspected control breakdowns and fraud, development of new reporting systems for the Audit Department, development of department training/annual meeting programs, etc.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

40%-50% of the time will require travel outside home area.

LOCATION

Position can be based in any major metropolitan area located in the region for which there is large number of parking facilities managed by the Company. Candidate may office at a Regional office if space is available and permission granted from Regional manager. Otherwise the candidate will need to have an office in their home.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Prefer that candidate has a college degree with a BS in business and 2 years of management experience in the parking industry, otherwise the candidate must have at least 5 years of management experience in the parking industry. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Good writing and analytical skills are necessary.
