Job Description

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an HR Intern to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR department's daily activities.

THE ORGANIZATION

Stand is a non-profit education advocacy organization focused on ensuring all students receive a high quality, relevant education, especially those whose boundless potential is overlooked and under-tapped because of their skin color, zip code, first language, or disability.

Responsibilities:

* Support VP of Talent in day-to-day administrative tasks and activities;
* General office support tasks; filing and scanning documents;
* Updating our internal databases with employee information like contact details and employment forms;
* Prepare HR-related reports as needed;
* Proofread HR documents;
* Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects as needed.

Requirements:

* Human Resources Management, Business or other related major;
* Current college junior or senior in good standing with a 3.0+ GPA;
* Experience in an office environment preferred;
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite;
* Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills;
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
* Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
