Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Implement fully functional demonstration systems in the form of C/C++ code for motor control customers, in order to solve their technical issues.

Create reference designs, requiring system design expertise, hardware, software integration and verification knowledge.

Develop technical documentation including application notes, user guides, design notes and white papers.

Conduct internal and customer training, thru training events like FAE summits, Tech Days or written materials.

Provide technical applications support to the company's sales staff, Field Applications Engineers as well as direct support to customers.

Minimum requirements:

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering. MS a plus.

Minimum of 3 years of experience development or testing of embedded controls.

Expertise with MCUs (STM32 and STM8 preferred) and firmware development.

Knowledge of Motor drives and control system architecture/design.

Knowledge of electronic components and motor control ICs.

Preferred qualifications:

Expertise with the electronic CADs and ability to produce PCB layouts of medium complexity.

Proficient with Matlab or other mathematical/electrical simulation tools to develop system simulations that include system models and circuit components to analyze the potential HW + SW solutions.
