Job Description

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Executes the non-judgemental tasks of the Department of Pharmacy to assist in the safe, accurate and timely management of medications. These duties include preparing medications & IV admixtures for Pharmacist's verification, stocking automated dispensing cabinets, answering telephone and department doors/windows, performing unit inspections, billing, assisting with patient education & dosage calculations. The position is supervised by Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Operations Coordinator and/or the Director of Pharmacy.

    Pharmacist Intern: High School diploma or GED required. Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy. Experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred.

    Pharmacy Tech: High School diploma or GED required. Registration with Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire. Successful completion of CPhT exam within 6 months of hire. Experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred.
