Job Brief

SRP is seeking a College Intern to provide support for its Supply Chain master data processes in our Business Solutions Support Services Department located at SRP’s corporate headquarters in Tempe. 

 

To be eligible for the SRP Intern Program, students must currently be enrolled in a minimum of 6 college credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters. College interns are expected to work a minimum of 15 hours per week but can work up to 40 hours if school schedule permits.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

• Administrate and maintain Supply Chain master data in SAP per documented processes and procedures.
• Provide support services to internal and external SRP clients.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Experience and/or interest in developing skills related to supply chain management.
• Learns, understands new information quickly.
• Personable with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Maintains high standards of quality, productivity, and can work systematically.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate information by applying knowledge management principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet/intranet technologies.

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Preferred requirements include familiarity with many of the following:
• Microsoft Office (Word), Outlook, Exchange
• Windows Operating Systems: Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows 7, Windows 10
• Internet Explorer, to include understanding configuration and properties
• Networking, to include general knowledge of user accounts and login, FTP, dial-up/VPN, and Intranet vs. Internet

Education

College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.
