Job Brief

Maintenance Services is responsible for Vegetation Management and Lighting Maintenance. Vegetation Management is responsible for keeping vegetation clear from overhead distribution and transmission power lines.  Our primary responsibility is to clear vegetation that may encroach on power lines, to prevent safety hazards, and to protect the reliability of our system.  Lighting Maintenance is responsible for maintaining SRP owned private, security, and municipal lighting assets.  Lighting Maintenance has both reactive and preventative programs that assure the integrity and performance of owned street and area lights.


Knowledge such as accounting, general administrative principles, communications, marketing, personnel, finance, training, business and other non-scientific fields.


Job Responsibilites:

Responsibilities within Maintenance Services include but are not limited to the following:

  • Phone coverage (answering/routing customer inquiries)
  • Document management
  • Printing/plotting maps
  • Tracking/ordering contractor supplies
  • Updating contractor lists and holiday schedules
  • Emailing routine advisories
  • Customer research in PHOENIX, Maricopa County Assessor, and Arbor II (departmental software utilized for scheduling and work order dispatch)
  • Work order processing
  • Administrative support as required




College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

The Association delivers nearly 1 million acre-feet of water to a service area in central Arizona. An extensive water delivery system is maintained and operated by the Association, including reservoirs, wells, canals and irrigation laterals.
