We currently have an opportunity for an HR Business Partner who'll guide and coordinate daily HR operations for one or more Region employee populations. Leaning on your years of experience, you'll provide perspectives and input to national, area, and region policies and programs while providing consultative services to senior business teams on organizational performance, all HR products and services. As you partner with Managers throughout the region you'll provide key HR data that impacts their business and establish individual performance goals then reviewing those performances against the goals.


  • Ability to function as an internal coach to management peers and others by helping them identify and resolve issues, encouraging excellent management practices, anticipating internal organization issues, proposing solutions, and understanding/representing the employee perspective.
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to lead by example in terms of creating an exciting environment for employees and the company to ensure collective success
  • Ability to serve as a strategic business partner and advisor to senior executives with a solid track record of achievement in the human resources management function
  • Demonstrated ability in leveraging key performance indicators to drive organizational success
  • Demonstrated history of successfully managing human resource activities across multiple facilities and across a wide geography
  • Demonstrated capabilities in developing and leveraging HR metrics to guide HR effectiveness
  • Demonstrated project management and implementation skills
  • Demonstrated process improvement skills
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills



Additional responsibilities will be to:
  • Provide management counseling on employee matters.
  • Plan, approve and implement programs for the timely development and progression of management team members.
  • Lead and support organizational change by seeking and developing ways for the organization to be more effective.
  • Manage HR functions to achieve region goals within a matrixed environment.
  • Ensure staffing targets are met for Region functions.
  • Ensure employee engagement initiatives are in place for Region functions.
  • Ensure effective training & development plans are in place for Region functions.
  • Ensure compensation programs are administered effectively for Region functions.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
  • Three years supervisory or management experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years progressive experience in Human Resources Management or in senior Human Capital Consulting
  • Experience in multiple human resources disciplines (Staffing, Training, Employee Relations, Compensation, Leadership Development, Talent management, Project Management)
  • Retail industry experience and knowledge of this employee population.
  • Masters Degree or PHR or SPHR designation
