Job Description

Are you looking for a part-time job on the nights and weekends? SportsEngine has an excellent part-time opportunity to join our Content Team. We are looking for a detail-oriented person with excellent communication skills and a willingness to work 20-30 hours per week, primarily in the evening and on the weekends.

The Content Specialist position pays $11.25 per hour. The successful candidate will thrive in an independent environment, with the ability to maintain tight communication with a team of remote co-workers and their supervisor.

Our ideal Content Specialist will be looking to kick-start their career with this rewarding position at a great company.

Content Specialist Role and Responsibilities:

* Collect and enter stats and scores for a variety of high school sports on deadline;


* Communicate with other content specialists to ensure adequate coverage of all sports or projects;


* Update schedules, team information on media sites;


* Consistently complete projects on or before deadline;


* Work on various special projects for large or enterprise level clients;


* Other duties as assigned



Content Specialist Preferred Skills:

* Strong communication skills;


* Tremendously organized with outstanding time management skills;


* Desire to make an impact at a growing company;


* A willingness to push your limits and grow as an individual;


* Ability to quickly learn all areas of the SportsEngine platform;


* Strong critical thinking skills;


* Candidates pursuing a degree in communications, statistics, sales, business, public relations, marketing, sports marketing, journalism or a related field are preferred
