Job Description

Customer Service Specialist: Part Time

If you are looking for a job where you can use your exceptional customer service skills, we invite you to submit your application for the full-time position of Customer Service Specialist at The 

Spokesman-Review. This position is great for a person who is detailed oriented, a fast and accurate typist, experienced with computers, has good problem solving skills, and is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast moving, fun working environment. If this description fits you, then come join our team in the Circulation Support Department.

What we want you to do…

• You will work between 6am and 11am during the week and every other weekend. 

• You will provide customer service to our subscribers, newspaper carriers, courtesy drivers and

District Managers.

• Qualified applicants will input carrier route information regarding subscription stops, starts, and changes into the computer system.

• You will be comfortable offering basic tech support to our subscribers.

• You will work with District Managers, carriers, and delivery assistants to handle carrier delivery issues

Who you are…

• You have prior customer service experience (face-to-face

and phone).

• You have outstanding listening and phone etiquette skills

(will be tested upon application).

• You can accurately type 45-55 WPM (will be tested upon application).

• You have excellent spelling skills.
