Job Description

We are looking for licensed and certified pharmacy technicians (within 12 months) to join our growing team. As an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician at Butterworth Hospital, this individual will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

* Ensuring safe and time effective medication delivery to hospital patients;
* Participating in sterile compounding, which could include chemotherapy medications;
* Providing high quality customer service to nurses, physicians and our patients.

Basic Qualifications:

Education - High School Diploma or equivalent

Licenses - State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician - Temporary Licensure or State of Michigan Pharmacy Intern License Upon Hire

Pharmacy Technician Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) 1 Year

State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician License 1 Year

Preferred Qualifications:

Education - Associate's Degree or equivalent

Experience - Hospital experience
