School Business Administrator/Board Secretary
The South Plainfield Board of Education located in Middlesex County, NJ, a Kindergarten through 12th grade school serving 3368 students, is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual for the full time position of School Business Administrator/Board Secretary. The position is available July 1, 2018.
Valid New Jersey School Business Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility
Understanding of the principles and practices of financial accounting and reporting procedures and GAAP requirements
Proficient at business practices in school districts related to budget preparation, administration and health benefit issues
Experience with State reports/grants: ESEA, IDEA, SNEAKS, ASSA, and DRTRS
Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with school plant operations, construction and facility planning, custodial and maintenance services
Skilled with Board of Education procedures and policies
Proficient with Systems 3000 a plus
