Job Description

Job Description Solomon, the leading performance improvement company for the global energy industry, is seeking candidates for a refining internship to support Comparative Performance Analysis (CPA) projects in the Fuels and Lubes sector. The intern will be working with experienced consultants and will assist with numerous refining activities including: * Updating the "Benchmark Participant History All Studies" spreadsheet * Consolidating and optimizing CPA tracking tools * Other special projects as requested The seasonal employee will be given training and specific projects to own and coordinate, under the direction of others, culminating in a report to management. as requested Qualifications Education Required: * 2+ years towards a degree in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering Work Experience * No previous work experience required Technical Skills Required: * Must be proficient at Microsft® Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint® * Ability to evaluate and analyze data and information Non-Technical Skills Required: * Accurate, efficient, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment * Able to organize and manage multiple tasks * Highly motivated and willing to take on new challenges * Quick learner; able to solve problems and work independently * Good written and verbal communicator, detail-oriented, organized, and quick learner * Strong time management and analytical skills Employment Type PT <20 hours="">
