Job Description

Title: Report Developer

Location: North Augusta, SC

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • Three (3) years of experience with developing technical reporting solutions, preferably with Crystal Reports, Microsoft tools SSRS, Excel and SQL Server

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop, debug, monitor and troubleshoot report solutions
  • Gather requirements from customers (both internal and external)
  • Write relational database queries and stored procedures for reporting solutions
  • Create and deploy reports and dashboards using Crystal and SSRS
  • Adherence to all development standards and protocols including the likes of Change Management, Code Review, Documentation and Testing
  • Educate and advise internal customers on how to leverage available data for consumption
  • Build relationships with Business Intelligence partners to understand data needs in order to execute with excellence on documented user requirements and prototypes
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Report Design and Development
  • SQL Server 2008 R2 and later, Windows Server 2008 R2 and later skills
  • Skills developing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers and advanced logical methods
  • SQL Server 2008 and later SSRS
  • Prefer to also have Crystal Reports XI and newer
  • Excellent computer software knowledge and skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Excel Services, SharePoint
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Good time management and organizational skills; ability to complete multiple reports for multiple projects on time and in scope
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
