TITLE

Analyst, International Marketing

REPORTS TO

Associate Manager, International Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY

Supports the International SBA, providing export marketing analysis for the Global, Latin American, Greater Asian, China, Mexico and EMEA sales teams. Responsible for support and analysis which will enable to the International SBA to meet and exceed its business strategy. Responsibilities include project management, SBA liaison to internal functional areas, and business analytics development as it applies to the International SBA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver research for new market and product initiatives that support the SBA

* Conduct research and provide actionable results on special requirements in global markets
* Work with Analytics and Data Science team to identify new data sources and grow data mining capabilities
* Identify untapped data sources to improve analytical success

Manage customer initiatives, marketing projects, and special initiatives

* Project manage International marketing initiatives
* Represent the SBA in Corporate initiatives that have broad impact (acquisitions, divestitures, cost savings initiatives, etc.)

International Business Reporting Lead

* Serve as International SBA Super User for Spotfire reporting and any supplemental reporting tools
* Create a continuous report development process maintaining standard reports to support the changing business environment
* Develop and maintain push and pull reports to support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements
* Set up and maintain customer and export product hierarchies

Promote the International SBA among the broader Smucker organization enhance the visibility to international initiatives

* Attend Supply Chain, Brand Marketing and MDO meetings to develop relationships and socialize the international projects that will impact their functional area
* Coordinate logistics concerns and customer communications
* Manage customer and export item restatements

Price List support

* Primary management of all price list updates
* Provide support on Trade Fund promotions

Provide back up support for Marketing and Product Registration Requests

SELECTION CRITERIAEducation

* Bachelor's Degree required

Experience

* Related business, marketing, or internship experience is required
* International business experience and market knowledge is a plus

Other

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Considerate management of business relationships with language and cultural differences
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
* High level of organization skills and prioritization of multiple projects and priorities
* Ability to recognize and appraise seriousness and urgency of issues as they relate to department activities
* Ability to work accurately and successfully, with a limited amount of supervision
