Job Description

Graduate Occupational Therapy Program Instructor | Part-Time Temporary Anatomy Neuroscience

Slippery Rock University invites applications for a part-time- temporary faculty position in our developing entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program that will begin in June 2018. Faculty responsibilities will include serving as lead instructor for the program's anatomy (8- week summer/ 6 contact hours) and neuroscience (14- week fall/ 6 contact hours) graduate courses. The candidate selected will be responsible for providing anatomy lecture and laboratory instruction and lecture responsibilities for the neuroscience course in an inter-professional teaching arrangement. State of the art SECTRA digital anatomy tables will be utilized in both courses to provide digital dissection, three-dimensional views of the body including CAT/MRI cross sections, and case studies.

Minimum Qualifications: Must hold an earned doctoral degree from an accredited institution. Successful performance in an on-campus interview, including a teaching demonstration is required. Commitment to the education of diverse populations.
