Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager to join our team! This person will be responsible for identifying Information Technology needs and design specifications, ensuring optimal hardware and software systems are in place, and that our core data system is maximized.

Essential Functions Include:

* Responsible for developing network, server, application, and core system maintenance and growth plans, creating annual and project budgets, managing the IT staff and keeping the executive team up to date on the latest networking technologies that could help the company to succeed.
* Responsible for staying informed on new technology, network security best practices, cybersecurity and financial specific technology (Fintech).
* Manages Information Technology staff, provides direction, organization information and feedback, and evaluates employee performance, on a consistent, timely, and regular basis.
* Ensures Symitar system is up and running, functioning properly and available for interface access to staff and members at all times, with exception of planned maintenance (to be performed during off peak hours) and unforeseen system problems.
* Assists in the long-range planning, development, and application of Information Technology functions.
* Evaluates emerging technologies to improve operations and efficiency credit union wide.
* Develops and maintains a comprehensive and strategic technology plan.
* Performs Risk Assessments and ensures retention and integrity of all IT based records.
* Recognizes, diagnoses, and resolves system and software problems as they occur.
* Establishes and maintains documentation and operation standards.
* Designs and implements systems and procedures for improving efficiency of operations, and effectively schedules and ensures minimal system down time.
* Develops, reviews, modifies, and tests the Business Continuity Plan.
* Responsible for coordinating audit with third-party auditing firms and regulatory audits with NCUA and replying to audits in a timely manner.

Qualifications

* College degree in computer science, business administration, or equivalent experience preferred.
* Minimum of four years' experience in core systems management (Symitar preferred).
* Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, SAN, and server systems.
* Strong understanding of WAN and LAN security (Palo Alto, or similar products).
* Working knowledge of NIST cybersecurity guidelines.
* Working knowledge of FFIEC guidelines.
* Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery implementation, management, and maintenance.
* Working knowledge of virtual computing environments (VMWare, Citrix, Microsoft).
* Hands-on knowledge of maintaining, administering, and monitoring Microsoft Exchange.
* Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
* Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
* Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Experience in system management and/or application programming.
* General knowledge of VoIP and telecommunication systems.
* Working knowledge of internal security controls (antivirus, IPS, IDS, etc.)
* Strong understanding of SIEM (log correlation and archive)
* Experience working with auditing firms and NCUA auditors.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
