Job Description

The Skokomish Indian Tribe is seeking to hire Mental Health Councilor/Clinical Supervisor.  The incumbent provide clinical supervision to the other mental health counselors. The incumbent is responsible for the clinical day-to-day compliance, schedules and referrals for the mental health program. This position provides a variety of outpatient mental health services within the community-based health program serving the Skokomish Indian Community including: one on one counseling, family counseling, assessments, support groups, youth counseling and prevention activities. The work is performed with considerable latitude for independent judgment within established guidelines. The Mental Health Counselor/Clinical Supervisor is a professional position under the direct supervision of the Behavioral Health Program Manager. Master’s degree in social work, psychology or related field. Qualifications as a Washington State Approved Mental Health Supervisor. Plus, a MINIMUM of ONE YEAR of mental health supervisory experience. Current registration/license with the State of Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. $30.00-$35.00 hourly DOQ/DOE Open Until Filled.
