Local Market Manager

We are looking for our new Local Market Manager to be accountable for the holistic mobile and fixed sales performance to target of all sales channels within your designated region.

 

These include but are not restricted to the companies Branded, Mass Market, Telesales, Digital, and Business channels Postpaid and Fixed AOP acquisition objectives. To achieve your targets you will need to define, plan and/or deliver local advertising and sales strategies that drive incremental demand and traffic into our stores, into telesales and on to our website.

 

Critical to your success will be your working relationships with the Branded and Mass Market State Managers and their teams.  Driving and collaborating with each Area Manager or similar to build and deploy strategies that capitalise on the nuances of the communities that they operate in.  Whist ensuring and enabling all Optus staff to execute localised plans seamlessly.

 

Requirements and Experience

 

This role is suitable to someone with around 5+ years of experience in territory management and multi-site experience. You will have a proven track record in both building relationships and increasing sales in your relevant portfolio/product suite, whether that be Telco or another industry.

 

Your highly developed influencing and marketing skills will be complimented with the ability to lead change and roll our local market strategies. Other elements of this role include understanding the retail environment, including challenges and trends associated with your market. Finally, you will have a proven capability to think and operate strategically, knowing full well the retail environment, in any industry, is fast paced and ever changing needing us to adapt to our customer demands.

 

You will have the opportunity to understand our Go To Market business, and get involved in providing game changing experiences to our customers!
