State Market Manager, Local Markets

We are looking for our new State Market Manager who will be accountable for the localisation and implementation of our local markets strategy.

 

Complicit to this is the achievement of Consumer and SMB customer base growth targets (Nett adds) and market share gains across these focal metros and/or regional SA3’s. To do this they must thoroughly understand all local markets of focus in their state by customer demographic, community, network capability and sales channel.

 

This role is responsible for the strategic development and delivery of sales and marketing activities in predetermined high value geographical areas within each state. 

 

With Optus growing at a fast rate, this is a great opportunity and time to join us. Key to success in this role will be your relationships and the ability to develop strong strategies.

 

Requirements and Experience

 

This role will suit someone with about 6 years of experience in large multi-sales channel organisation and 5 years in a sales, delivery of sales and/or operational processes and solutions environment.

 

You will be a fantastic proven people leader with proven experience in leading and mentoring people to achieve their best.

 

Further to your ability to build relationships, you will have high level of experience working with local government, community groups and NFP’s. Finally, you will be an expert in sales planning and execution, with the proven ability to drive outcomes by liaising with sales and marketing teams.
