You will be accountable for the effective management, motivation and coaching of a team of Sales Consultants to achieve the sales and productivity targets for their team as well as the associated quality standards and process adherence measures to ultimately ensure that the Customer Experience is positive and delivers to our brand promise. You’ll play an integral role in re-inventing the Consumer Telesales channel’s culture and work towards establishing a centre of excellence in operation, execution and results.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Achievement of individual consultant and team sales targets and associated KPI’s including; conversion, bundling, productivity, consultant adherence to roster and log-in availability
  • Comprehensive understanding of monthly Sales Commissions and the associated documentation to ensure the team leader can clearly communicate purpose of document and monthly targets to consultants. Also required to report errors and discrepancies within agreed timeframes
  • Coach and develop consultant skills, call quality and product knowledge through one on one’s and regular feedback from call monitoring, both remote and double jacking
  • Manage team rosters and log-in effectively and support the Call Centre objectives as required including the co-ordination, approval and monitoring of overtime
  • Participate in work stream projects to support the objectives and implementation of the channel strategy

We’re looking for a candidate with the following:

  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
  • Track record of excellence in a sales environment
  • Proven ability to work with targets and deadlines
  • Demonstrated decision making, negotiation, consultation and solution selling skills
  • Customer focussed and experience resolving customer complaints and issues
