Digital Performance Manager

An exciting opportunity for a Digital Performance Manager within the Digital Service Performance team has become available. You’ll be a motivated, digital data analyst with a passion for measuring success, providing learnings and at times actioning the recommendations and insights.

 

Your focus will be across marketing, sales and self-service performance and your role will drive customer engagement across Optus Digital channels including but not limited to the My Optus App, Optus.com.au and existing customer portal My Account. You will develop forecasting models and methods to predict upcoming Digital Marketing, sales and service trends producing meaningful KPI dashboards and deliver weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

 

This is an awesome opportunity to work closely with the Digital Customer Engagement team, including but not limited to Retention, Engagement and agency partners to drive continuous improvement for ongoing strategies across customer engagement touch points within Digital.

 

In this buzzing and busy role you will;

 

  • Identify opportunities to optimize digital advertising efforts for existing customers within digital, to increase conversions and improve efficiency across SEM, SEO, display, social, email, affiliates and on-site campaigns
  • Develop forecasting models/methods to predict upcoming Digital marketing, sales and inbound call performance trends for Existing Customers.
  • Provide expert perspective on media mix approaches, target market segmentation, tools, and visualizations in resolving existing customer related digital problems
  • Help drive ongoing testing & optimisation strategies for the Digital team, working closely with the Digital Customer Engagement campaign lead to deliver an approach of design, test, and learn
  • Analyse sales and engagement data, identifying key revenue drivers and opportunities across the existing customer base to provide ongoing insights and recommendations back to the digital team
  • Develop a robust segmentation strategy within the digital landscape for the digital customer engagement team, to successfully tailor targeted experiences to the right audiences, and drive ROI

 

So what are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate is a passionate Digital Performance Analyst / Manager with 3+ years of experience with Web Analytics  (Google Analytics ) across a variety of digital channels including web, App, Social and Chat. 

  • In order to be successful you will have strong analytical and complex problem solving skills to provide insight as well as recommendations for changes, to influence key decision makers of business benefits of proposed solutions.  This includes advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, vlookup, etc).  Experience in Tableau will be an advantage
  • A functional understanding of business, sales and marketing operations and principles, along with a strong understanding of Small to Medium Businesses will hold you in good stead.
  • Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation tools is preferred (E.g. salesforce.com, Marketo, ExactTarget)
  • Experience with Tag management Systems ie Signal, Ensighten, Tealium will be also be advantageous in this role.
  • Similarly experience with data retrieval, manipulation & analysis using SQL and/or BigQuery are preferred.
