Within this context an awesome opportunity has become available to join our Digital Customer Engagement (DCE) team, within the Digital Customer group, as Digital Planning Manager.

DCE is responsible for the strategy, development and delivery of all engagement & comms to 6M Optus customers.  Fundamental to success is redefining the way Optus engages with customers by transforming from traditional channels to digital channels.

The Digital Planning Manager will also be critical to promoting a culture of creative testing and adoption of best practice engagement principles within DCE.

As Digital Planning Manager you will have advanced planning capability, influencing skills, leadership ability, and commercial management skills to deliver on the following key deliverables:

  • Facilitating the development and presentation of DCE plans across multiple stakeholder groups, from strategic annual plans to weekly activity plans.
  • Development and implementation of processes and procedures to support quality execution of customer campaigns.
  • Development and implementation of test-and-learn principles and performance assessment methodology (including ROI evaluation)
  • Championing direct marketing and customer management best practices across the team.
  • Effectively manage our agency/vendor partners and budget, including management of forecasting, reconciliation and trafficking.
  • Management of one Planning & Traffic Manager

So what are we looking for?

  • An experienced Marketing professional with 8+ years of experience from Agency and/or Client environments.

  • Someone who is passionate about process re-engineering and continually driving improvements. Experience with planning tools such as MRM would be highly regarded.

  • This role is ideal for a strong leader who inspires and engages others and has the ability to influence a senior stakeholder group to drive outcomes.

Culturally, Optus is a place you can bring your authentic self to work, where you will be rewarded for sharing ideas and where you can carve out your own career path. In return we ask that you’re open to new ideas and new ways of working to help us deliver exciting, effortless and connected experiences for our customers and our people.

Optus recognises the importance of attracting and retaining the best people, so we offer innovative salary packages and benefits, including sales, service and performance awards. What next? Apply now to become part of our team.
