In this exciting and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for the execution and development, of integrated end to end marketing programs across growth and retention programs 


Additionally, you will manage, guide and provide framework for end-to-end development and implementation of integrated lifecycle programs that drive demand, grow share of wallet through product expansion and retain existing accounts. It will be the responsibility of the person in this position to drive measurable communication and engagement programs to drive growth, positive NPS and advocacy


As the Marketing Manager Lifecycle you will have responsibility for optimising, engaging and retention of Optus Business (OB) customers by:


  • Building and managing an overall customer engagement plan which aims to increase life time value, improve customer retention and customer brand advocacy (NPS); 
  • Working closely with the Customer Experience, Customer Integrated Services and Portfolio Marketing Manager team to agree a balanced portfolio of communications and contacts to achieve overall customer base outcome across the lifecycle of the customer; and
  • Identifying actionable insights to grow our share of wallet and product holdings within existing accounts based using on customer behaviour, channel feedback, competitor activity, commercial dynamics, and product insights.


You have an advanced understanding of the complex nature of buying decisions in B2B environments, as well as the personas and insights of the audience. You will also work closely with the product and sales teams to create offers and propositions that will work for this segment, create content to engage the audience. 


You checklist for success... 


  • Degree qualified in a Marketing, Business or associated discipline; 
  • Minimum 4 years Marketing knowledge and experience in a reputable B2B Marketing arena; 
  • IT marketing experience and strong program, campaign and event execution expertise; 
  • Experience in Digital, Social and Content Marketing, plus marketing automation tools ability (pref Marketo) 
  • Understanding of sales needs, customer’s buying cycle and campaign metrics and analysis;  
  • Excellent Planning and prioritisation, with strong communication and presentation skills; 
  • Campaign reporting and marketing Automation experience; 
  • Deep customer focus and understanding, with superior written and verbal communication skills;  
  • Influencer skills – good negotiation and stakeholder management; 
  • Motivated – can do attitude, willingness to ‘step up’ and take initiative ownership; and
  • Solid problem solving skills, positively leads through change, challenger thinking mindset.
