The position will require individuals with a pleasing and compassionate personality who have at least two (2) years of experience in two (2) or more of the following branch positions:

1) Teller

2) New Accounts

3) Credit Assistant/Secretary

Additionally, the position will provide information to customers and prospects on bank products and services. Will open new deposit accounts, cross sell deposit and loan accounts and services. Sells "E" banking services (check cards, cash management, credit cards, etc.). Sells and establishes consumer SRA products, safe deposit products, other consumer loan and deposit products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Interviews customers to obtain information and explain available financial and deposit services, consumer and mortgage services, and "E" banking services. Also refers prospects and customers to other areas of the bank for additional services.

Rents safe deposit boxes.

Prepares loan work sheets under the direction of the loan officers and forwards the documents to LOC.

Answers customer questions and investigates and assists customers in resolution of problems.

Maintains customer branch files.

Helps customers complete loan applications and enters application information into the mortgage line system. Forwards consumer applications and compliance documentation of CCA.

Obtains credit records from credit reporting agency.

Admits customers to safe deposit vault.

Executes wire transfer of funds.


This position has no supervisor responsibility.

High school graduate or equivalent with two (2) or more years of experience in bank operations and new accounts or credit assistant/loan secretary positions.


Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers.


Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
