We are currently seeking a Software Engineer - Full Stack Guru for our Princeton, NJ location.

What are my responsibilities?

We are looking for a full stack developer to join our team in developing a scalable and modular platform to host our processing pipeline, and to integrate and further develop our research algorithms base. The ideal candidate will be a versatile and talented programmer who has experience developing exceptional software and system architecture. The position includes a broad set of tasks within data processing, spatial processing and web tools. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and has the ability to swiftly turn specification into finished software.

What skills are needed to qualify for this position?

* Masters degree required in Computer Science or similar degree with 5+ years of experience. PhD is preferred.


* Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining large scale.
* Strong expertise with C++ and at least one major language suited to web programming (such as Python, Ruby, Node, Java, Scala, or JavaScript).
* Expertise with GPU programming.
* Experience writing algorithms, designing data

structures, application of object oriented methods and knowledge of design patterns.

* Familiarity with Experience in modern web development using JavaScript, HTML5, and libraries such as React, Famous, Bootstrap, Angular, JQuery,or D3; including knowledge in at least one web application framework (such as Meteor, Rails, Django,Flask, or Play).
* Strong understanding of data modeling and storage with NoSQL and relational DBs such as MongoDB, Postgres.
* Fluent in OS X and *NIX command line environment.
* Experience with Big Data processing and Spatial Data.
* Solid understanding of performance testing, improvement techniques and caching solutions.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and can do attitude.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
* Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Willing to accept challenges and responsibilities.
