The Siemens Digital Service Center is seeking a confident, outgoing, and self-motivated sales professional to grow the nationwide building automation and alarm monitoring business working from the Customer Service Center (CSC) in Irving, Texas. This role consists of new business development challenges as well as maintaining and growing existing customer relationships. You will leverage knowledge of numerous Siemens building automation and alarm offerings to provide comprehensive solutions and influence customer decision-making, both over the phone and on-site. This is not an entry-level position.


* Quickly generate a sales pipeline and contact strategy to touch existing expired accounts and accounts with an undetermined status to generate new contracts and/or expand services. Targeted fire monitoring accounts with Plain Old Telephone System (POTS) lines to propose upgraded long-life cellular or IP solutions.
* Establish relationships with appropriate Zone & Branch personnel that are responsible for, and drive, the monitoring business including sales executives, CSMs, CSAs, renewal coordinators, etc.
* Support the CSC with customer-specific monitoring issues.
* Support the Branch POS reps with costs for quoting purposes.
* Support the sales initiatives of the CSC Director as needed.
* Travel to Branch/customer locations as needed to facilitate business opportunities.
* Establish requisite knowledge of other DSC offerings.
* Other duties as determined by the CSC Director.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

* Bachelor's Degree
* Three years in a B2C or B2B sales role or intense customer service environment
* Solid business acumen
* Proficient in MS Office with accent on Excel and PowerPoint
* Clear and concise communicator
* 10-20% travel required

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

* Minimum Associates degree. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or other technical field preferred.
* Five years in building technology solutions, including fire, security and building automation sales and service.
* Demonstrated experience in influencing customer behavior and closing sales.
