We areseeking a motivated student with experience with design optimization. You willget the opportunity to:

* Evaluate and update our current database thatcontains a number of optimization problems
* Investigate application of our searchtechnology in new application areas and compare against other establishedmethods in these new domains.
* Work on solving optimization problems in newapplication areas
* Create test problems to evaluate effectivenessof new techniques
* Update our database of benchmarking problems
* Investigate techniques for improved efficiencyin search for better solutions
* Gain a better understanding of how design spaceexploration is applied to solving real world problems in the industry alongwith a glimpse into the process of product development.


* Currently enrolled in a university pursuing aMaster's degree or PhD in mathematics, or an engineering field
* Experience in the field of design optimization
* Experience with programming (C++ or Python)-not required, but preferred
* Exceptional communication skills
* Ability to work well in a team
