Application Support Engineer Student Internship

Location: Houston, Texas

Start Date: Fall 2018

We are seeking a motivated student who has a desire to work with our support team and customers. You will get the opportunity to:

* Ensure technical success of our customers in their use of our software

* Work closely with support team and customers to understand their engineering workflow

* Help our customers install and license our software

* Propose solutions and best practices to help client meet their objectives as well as improve their processes

* Work and support projects specifically with CFD and our software, STAR-CCM+


* Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, CFD, or a related field

* Graduating in 2019 or later

* Experience/classroom exposure with fluid mechanics/dynamics

* Experience with CFD software

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Experience with Siemens software is a plus

* Exceptional problem-solving skills
