Software Engineer Student Internship

Location: Cypress, California

Start Date: Summer 2018

Hours: Full-time in the summer; part-time during the school year

We are seeking a motivated student who has a strong interest in software development. You will get the opportunity to:

* Assists with the installation, configuration and execution of product simulations for the assessment of the scalability and throughput capabilities
* Focus on execution repeatability and providing quality engineering data to the product development teams.
* Follow existing processes & procedures to safeguard simulations in the change control system
* Post and update PRs to the tracking system,
* Post and update benchmark collateral to the APA Dashboard.
* Ensure overall information quality of the scalability or throughput executions on assigned platforms including all required collateral.
* Work closely with product development team to provide collateral needed to diagnose scalability / response time regressions in a timely manner.

Requirements:

* Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
* Graduating in 2019 or later
* Knowledge and experience C++ and Java
* Knowledge and experience with one or more shell scripting tools such as Perl or Python
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Eager to learn and desire to develop new knowledge and skills
* Able to work independently
