Summer 2020

Shure offers a challenging and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve week program is offered to undergraduate students that have completed at least 2 years of college, as well as graduate students. Each intern will receive a competitive salary and students who reside out of Illinois will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

The Business Analytics Intern - GMS (Global Marketing & Sales) assists in providing financial support and data analysis for the respective Sales Organization and/or region. Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, explores data to find patterns and relationships, with the goal of explaining why certain results occurred. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial and budgetary reports, market share data, as well as all other data inputs available to the team. Helps to develop financial reports and analysis tools to support and enhance business decision-making. Assists in providing financial support and analysis for the sales and marketing teams of the respective Sales Organization and/or region.


* The intern will help update monthly financial and planning reports
* Assist in modifying current reports to meet new organizational needs
* This will include becoming proficient in Business Warehouse, Excel Pivot tables, Excel logic, Tableau


* In-process of a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing or related quantitative field
* Highly-organized and willing to learn end-to-end process improvement skills
* Able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures
* Self-motivated, team player, detail oriented
* Able to meet required deadlines
* Ability to work independently with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good Microsoft Office skills. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
