Job Description

Job Description Under direction, assist in the definition and programming of moderately complex software. Work effectively on several phases of systems/software programming/analysis with little direction, but may require some instruction and guidance for other aspects. May assist in the coding of benchmark testing, job accounting and other control modules developed internally by the company. May assist with moderately complex software applications, such as system generations, compilers, link editors, and assemblers.

Applies science and/or engineering techniques to develop economical solutions to technical problems. Specifies functional requirements, evaluates the overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety of military systems. Evaluates the integration, and analysis of military electronics, computer networking, super-minicomputers, microcomputers, and digital and graphic display systems.

* Translate new capabilities into operationally testable criteria
* Support the development of test plans and documents for functional testing of all software and software upgrades to the Mission Management Center (MMC) and other supported organizations
* Synchronize test documents and activities with applicable RCB/CCB project schedules
* Support the development of analysis plans including system requirements, test measures, test approaches and testable criteria
* Support the development of custom message injection scenarios and truth data calculations for post-test analysis
* Execute functional testing of all IAVM software and software upgrades to be provided to MMC (with exceptions as directed by the RCB and/or CCB)
* Develop test procedures for all software and software upgrades to be provided by the Joint Friendly Force Tracking (JFFT) to the MMC and other supported organizations
* Execute testing including regression testing, system installation and checkout (IC), IV&V, and testing of all FT software upgrades to the MMC
* Produce test reports to document the results of all testing performed; provide unbiased risk assessment to the user, include pass/fail ratings, of test measures and recommendations to operationalize software; test reports must be of sufficient quality to pass applicable acceptance and decisions
* Interface with software developers and integration engineers to correct software issues based on test results
* Support software security risk testing and test security risk mitigation
* Perform server performance analysis
* Test KeyMaker system software in its entirety, when possible, to include new software versions and/or the addition of new devices or communications links without influence or direction from the developmental organizations
* Assess testing results and report bugs and software deficiencies to the KeyMaker working group
* Perform TTL device testing and integration both in and out of the SMDC architecture and the vendor ecosphere

Required Skills At a minimum should have a bachelor's degree of science in engineering or scientific field of study from an accredited college or university.Shall have the technical background and skills to perform in the design, integration, and analysis of military electronics, computer networking, super-minicomputers, microcomputers, and digital and graphic display systems.Must possess at least a SECRET clearance at time of award, shall be US Citizens, and be eligible for TOP SCRET clearances with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
