Critical Illness Recovery Hospital


Occupational Therapist / OT

Practice your passion as an Occupational Therapist, where your skills are appreciated and developed every day. As an OT in our hospitals, you will be working alongside highly skilled rehabilitation staff and assist a trained critical care nursing team. You will be taking care of patients that truly need you. Select Specialty and Regency Hospitals care for patients who are critically ill and need extended acute hospitalization for their recovery. We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist. * Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, consisting of registered nurses, respiratory therapists, physical and speech-language pathologists and physicians to assist patients to regain their independence.
* Develop relationships with patients and their families.


* Participates in discharge planning for each patient including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
* Supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. Supervises OT and COTA students
* Exhibits "customer service" attitude
* Communicates with patients and/or family members
* Instills confidence in team members, patients, and families
* Timely and accurate documentation
* Implement company standards of care, policies, and procedures
* Ensure all regulatory requirements are met


Qualification/Must have:

* Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
* Successful completion of the National Registry Examination.
* Valid BLS
* Diligence, Reliability, Positive, caring and customer-service-oriented attitude
