What You'll Be Doing:

Reporting to the Technology Operations Manager, the Junior Business Systems Analyst will work closely with the Business Systems Analyst, other team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions related to Salesforce.com / Force.com and other applications. You will be supporting the Technology Solutions team by mining information from individual case exceptions and problems to identify patterns of errors that reveal systematic malfunctions. This analysis will form the basis for setting backlog priorities. By allocating time and resources to correcting and refining the relevant processes to systems functionalities appropriately, this position will be integral to improving efficiencies and effectiveness in the organization and its partners.

The Details:

Location: Downtown Seattle (remote is not available for this role)

Work Schedule: Our typical business hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% (mostly in-state)

Duration: This role has been approved through June 30, 2020

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods of the day

* Work cases to resolve issues and recommend resolutions and fixes;
* Analyze errors and exceptions to identify trends using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) best practices;
* Identify, organize, and classify errors and bugs in tech case queue;
* Create and monitor reports for needed record updates;
* Update records as needed;
* Develop and maintain status reports on progress of incoming cases;
* Utilize Salesforce (SF) capacity for reports, email templates, workflows, and knowledge base;
* Exploit Salesforce functionality for the benefit of all users and stakeholders;
* Document requirements & workflow to capture current and future business processes;
* Perform other team roles when and if needed; e.g., QA tester, documenter, trainer;
* Establish and maintain productive relationships with Benefits Group colleagues;
* Work to support the Service Vision; and
* Other duties as assigned by your manager.

You Will Need to Have:

* Demonstrated analytical skills especially in identifying trends and patterns;
* Exposure to a CRM system (Salesforce a plus);
* Excellent skill level in Excel software (VLOOKUPS a must);
* An ability to work with multiple software systems and a willingness to learn new products;
* Basic understanding of sprint (or sprint planning) as used in project management;
* Equally comfortable interacting with the business side of the organization as with the tech team;
* Display diplomatic and strong communications skills with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers;
* Embrace team-based work approaches;
* Able to self-manage and adapt to changing priorities as needed; and
* Eagerness to understand the full range of the business and aware of the intersection of business needs and tech capacity.

It Will Be Great if You Have:

* Bachelor's Degree in relative field;
* 1+ years in data analysis, reporting and/or case (ticket) management;
* Basic understanding of the Agile Methodology as used in project management;
* Nonprofit experience.
