Job Description

Position Description:

Workforce Development is currently seeking a versatile and energetic individual to join our team. The primary focus of this role is supporting university relations and college recruitment for SEI's Junior Leadership Programs and entry level roles across the organization. This person will also provide support to the Recruitment and Workforce Development teams as a whole by participating in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required.

What you'll do:

Specific duties may include but are not limited to:

Recruiting

Junior Leadership Programs:

* Work closely with recruitment and leadership program directors to execute on the recruitment strategy for internship and associate program
* Create job requisitions
* Post jobs on SEI and university job portals
* Schedule career fairs, first round interviews and other events (mock interviews, classroom presentations, etc.) at schools and at SEI
* Manage scheduling of volunteer recruitment teams (typically SEI employees who are alum of each school who attend the various recruitment activities such as career fairs, interviews, etc.)
* Source, select and schedule candidates for first rounds interviews at target schools and SEI
* Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract top talent (such as career fairs, on-campus recruitment, networking events, information sessions, social media, etc.)
* Coordinate interview super days for Associates and Internship Programs final round interviews; this includes scheduling interview rooms, interviewers and candidates, generating schedules, oversight of event logistics and candidate experience
* Manage employee referral process for intern and associate program candidates
* Ensure all interviewers are trained in accordance with company policy and interview evaluation forms are completed and retained according to company policy
* Manage candidates through applicant tracking system
* Extend offers

Entry Level Positions:

* Execute on position specific recruiting plans
* Manage miscellaneous non-associate roles and referrals
* Serve as primary information resource throughout the interviewing process; lead the communication, anticipate and answer questions, and follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure timely information on the interview process status

University Relations

Associates and Internship Programs:

* Maintain and grow relationships with faculty, career services and administrative staff of target universities. Develop a strategy for increased visibility at key schools through professor site visits, support of on-campus clubs and organizations, coordinating classroom speaking events with SEI alum, etc.
* Engage and develop strong teams of alumni volunteers for each target school
* Coordinate site visits or other programs and activities centered around university relations and engagement
* Execute on strategy for diversity recruitment as set by directors of recruitment and leadership development

Marketing

* Maintain students section of the SEI careers website including campaigns, videos, etc.
* Development of recruitment materials such as brochures, Promotional Items, etc.
* Assist in development of new and strategic advertising methods in order to attract talent

Position Requirements

What you bring to the table:

Qualified applicants must demonstrate a high sense of urgency, critical thinking and problem solving skills, excellent client service orientation and the ability work effectively across all levels of the organization

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related fields
* Experience with Financial Services industry preferred
* Experience with university recruitment strongly preferred
* Proven ability to establish effective relationships across all levels
* Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
* Strong customer service orientation
* Strong administrative and organizational skills
* Ability to present to large groups
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* PHR/SPHR certificate desirable or ability to obtain
* Ability to travel over 50% during peak recruiting seasons

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
