Job Description

SEI Archway is looking for a Portfolio Reporting Analyst to join the Portfolio Reporting Operations team. The Portfolio Reporting Operations team is responsible for ensuring client retention through completing reconciliation of transactions against custodial statements of record for accounts containing financial securities. The ideal candidate must have a background in finance, accounting or comparable field of study as well as an interest in technology and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

* Complete daily and monthly client account reconciliation services across custodial and alternative investment accounts using proprietary software technology
* Process daily activity files received from data providers and analyze exceptions
* Troubleshoot complex exceptions
* Manually classify transactional data inputs for automated processing
* Assess data input against requirements and take appropriate action to augment when required
* Identify process and technology improvement opportunities
* Provide data management for alternative assets
* Complete new account setup and rebuild
* Participate in training of new analysts
* Review client reporting to validate accuracy

Position Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field OR equivalent experience in Portfolio Reconciliation, Customer Service, and Leadership
* For recent graduates: minimum GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale required
* Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office required
* Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service required
* Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and investment terminology
* Previous experience with accounting softwares systems is a plus
* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, vendors, team members and management
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
* Ability to adapt and prioritize changing project priorities, tasks and timelines
* Rigorous attention to detail
* Highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure
