Job Description

The Institutional Advice team has an opening for an Asset/Liability Analyst. The selected individual will be responsible for the quantitative analysis and reporting of customized investment strategies for SEI's institutional asset management clients.


Model defined benefit plan assets, liabilities and key financial variables in order to analyze alternative asset allocation strategies

Collect, modify and input data into asset/liability modeling

Participate in conference calls with senior staff to discuss client objectives

Run asset/liability models and contribute to the analysis of simulation output

Discuss proposed allocations by detailing client objectives, key assumptions, summary results and the rationale for proposed strategies

Develop appropriate reporting and presentation materials for the client

Contribute toward communication of proposed investment strategies to Sr. investment staff and internal clients

Contribute toward improving the analytical and reporting processes

Position Requirements

College degree preferably in mathematics, actuarial science, finance or economics Strong quantitative skills and detail-oriented individual

Experience in database administration a plus

Location and Travel

This position will be based at our corporate headquarters in Oaks, PA

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
