Job Description

Service Analyst role:

Your career would begin with our training program which includes our corporate orientation, Middle Office orientation, service analyst training, as well as on the job training.

You would be encouraged to participate in SEI's robust learning and development offerings which include technology, professional skills, and communication training.

You would have the opportunity to build your network beginning with our new hire Happy Hour, additional SEI Happy Hours, our Affinity Groups, as well as our grassroots volunteer initiative, SEI Cares.

You would participate in regular performance meetings with your manager to ensure thoughtful career management and to formulate individual career goals.

In addition to providing exceptional client service and support within our Advisor Network you would be encouraged to research and troubleshoot new ways and answers within your domain of expertise, and mentor and guide new analysts.


Successful service analysts typically possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience within the financial services industry through internships or other opportunities

Extracurricular involvement such as volunteer initiatives, travel abroad programs, or participation in clubs, organizations, and athletic groups

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Desire to work as part of a team with excellent interpersonal skills

Logical and analytical thinking and attention to detail

Ability to prioritize in a high volume environment

Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities

Position Requirements

Basic Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, math, or related field and will be graduating between December 2016 - June 2017. Graduates and alumni considered.

Industry related experience

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move

around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
