Job Description
- Manage the maintenance department in a melting and forging operation
- Supervise union and hourly maintenance staff while providing strong leadership and scheduling manpower
- Use CMMS to manage workflow and to ensure preventative maintenance is performed
- Coordinate with other departments regarding plant shut downs and planned/unplanned outages
- Supervise and assist with the repairs of well-seasoned heavy machinery
Key Requirements
- Prior maintenance experience supervising union employees in a heavy manufacturing facility is required is required
- Knowledge and experience performing electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair son heavy industrial equipment is required
- Must have flexibility on working shift
- High school diploma (or equivalency or demonstrated equivalent experience) is required
