193292 Corporate Governance, Business Excellence Intern (Fall/Winter) (Open)

About Our Group:

Business Excellence enables our enterprise to move beyond standards and compliance onto the path of enabled continuous improvement with all process owners benefiting from a singular set of structures spanning people, process, technology to enable performance.

About the Role - You will:

* Enable large, cross-functional corporate governance process development and documentation spanning four key pillars: Objectives and Key Results, Critical Information Requests, Corporate Cadence and Issues Management.
* Meet with relevant stakeholders and process owners to define and document current processes in support of four key pillars of corporate governance.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enable the infrastructure and operational cadence of these work processes.
* Effectively communicate and influence, cross-functionally, to achieve project outcomes and established cadence.
* Develop and deliver project status presentations and videos, including process models, supporting metrics, business requirements, improvement recommendations, etc.
* Recognize barriers to improvement efforts and effectively work to remove them.
* Advise the business in maintaining process mapping, identifying key metrics, and benchmarking.
* Utilize a BPM System (Signavio) to create process flows and other attributes (RACI, SIPOC, etc) using BPM Notation in support of corporate governance.
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders and SMEs to ensure they are positive and

About You:

* You have excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with various levels of management.
* You exhibit strong organization skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
* You demonstrate the highest level of integrity.
* You are trustworthy, while working well independently and as a team.
* You are able to work 20+hrs a week from October for a 3-6 month duration.

Your Experience Includes:

* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business management education (accounting, finance, business, operations mgmt., etc) and currently enrolled in a degree program.
* Education includes understanding where/how technology or new business process models address business challenges.
* Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Google applications).
