We have full-time, part-time and casual/per diem positions available on the night shift at the following locations:

* Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas
* Scripps Green Hospital
* Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla
* Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego
* Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista
* Scripps Health Core Lab in Sorrento Mesa

The night shift is ideal for the CLS looking to be well-versed in all areas of the lab and the opportunity for some independent work. Our night shift lab teams support each other system-wide. With night shifts starting generally at 10pm, our lab teams enjoy the flexibility to work a shift that fits their personal lifestyle - and are eligible for a shift differential.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

* Bachelor's Degree or degreeacceptable for California Laboratory Licensure
* New graduates are welcome to apply

Required Certification/Registration:

* CDPH Licensure: MTA(Clinical Laboratory Scientist) Licensed to perform work in all areas of theClinical Lab
* LimitedLicenses: Limited licenses used in the clinical lab may be hired towork only in their specialty areas:

o Chemistry: MTC(Chemist)

o Blood Bank: MTD(Immunohematologist)

o Microbiology: MTE(Clinical Microbiologist) or PHM (Public Health Microbiologist)

o Hematology: MTQ(Hematology)

o Molecular Genetics: MTP(Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist)

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

* One year equivalent full time in a clinical laboratory.
