Purpose of Job

The incumbent is responsible for the management and delivery of complex, GBM scale, data oriented solutions. The role is a key leader in the deployment of technical solutions to advance the data programs. The project manager must have strong project management and leadership skills; a good understanding of data management principles; and the ability to work with both business and IT leaders to support the deployment of complex, data-oriented technical solutions within business timelines.


The position requires expert understanding of emerging technologies, project management and lifecycle development methodologies and technical architectures pertaining to the area. The incumbent will have excellent skills in relationship and general business management.

Key Job Accountabilities

1.  Provides consulting and guidance including business case preparation and developing creative/alternative approaches to problem resolution. The focus is to be kept on overall business solutions, not on specific packages or technologies.

2.  Define project governance, identify senior stakeholders and sponsors to form a steering or working group committee (should it be necessary)

3.  Manage Project participants and relationship ensuring project teams are cohesive and operating to common objectives and priorities

4. The incumbent will work with the overall DFS 504 Workstream to establish the scope of the project and then manage to the established scope.

5. Ensure project change notifications are raised where necessary and approved. If the scope changes identify impacts to the sponsor and/or Steering Committee as appropriate.

6. Hold regular meetings (daily if necessary)  with the Scrum Masters and Project team to ensure that the project management deliverables are met i.e. project planning, risk management, issue management and status meeting

7. The Incumbent should ensure that the overall DFS 504 Workstream lead is kept updated with the overall project status, risks and issues at all times.

8. Ongoing communication of project status, completing the weekly and monthly project status reports and escalation issues to the workstream lead and other committees as appropriate.

9. Motivating the Project Team and maintaining the momentum of the Project against background of changing and occasionally conflicting priorities

10. Contributes to successful team performance in accordance with the Governance and Regulatory Compliance team.  This encompasses support to other team members, individual contribution to the team and shared responsibility for team attainment of objectives. 

11. Provides monitoring and oversight of established internal processes and controls and identifies and develops new internal processes to broadly align with US AML DG Framework,  EDMO polices and processes

Educational Requirements and Experience:

•  University degree in business, accounting, or finance is required

•  Project Management Experience

•  Budget Management and Forecasting

• Database related (MS Excel) work experience required
