Purpose of Job

Under direct supervision of the Senior Manager of Robotics the Robotics Program, the Intake, Diagnostic & Reporting Manager assumes program support responsibility for all aspects of the Robotic Automation (RA) Program in Canada.Contributes to the overall success of the Robotic Automation Program globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

•             Develop a community of expertise to create consistency and scale for an enterprise-wide Robotics Initiative

•             Assist business partners and functions to enhance operational efficiency, reduce operational risk and cost and optimize the way we work through the rapid deployment of robotic automation in

              key processes

•             Establish an enterprise operating model and roadmap to deploy or support automation across the organization efficiently

•             Provide guidance, innovative thought leadership and subject matter expertise for all elements of robotics including RPA, RDA and Cognitive Automation across the enterprise


Key Accountabilities

•             Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge

•             Assists the Senior Manager of Robotics by participating in working sessions, collecting data, and conducting analysis to assess candidate processes for robotics for the supported business unit

              or function

•             Facilitates initial and ongoing conversations with business units and act as relationship manager to the COE

•             Initiates data requests to gather and analyze process documents and business architect diagrams

•             Owns quantitative models that will be used to assess the potential benefits of RA opportunities

•             Maintains a repository of all process opportunities

•             Tracks and reports metrics / KPIs of individual deployments and at the program level

•             Ensures proper set of measures for each KPI being tracked

•             Determines targets for each measure and investigates missed targets

•             Responsible for coordinating with designated business unit or function to support change management and communications for activities pertaining to the robotic automation program and

              individual deployments

•             Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions

•             Collaborate and support Robotics team members in change management, development labs, production, and maintenance teams to resolve problems, to implement changes that continuously

               improve our approach and overall program. 

•             Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations

              with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework,

              Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct


Functional Competencies

•             2-4 years of experience working in Financial Services Industry

•             Understanding of core banking processes and systems

•             Strong analytical capability

•             Strong presentation and facilitation skills

•             Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)

•             Enthusiastic, thorough, inclusive, ability and desire to help other thrive in a dynamic team-oriented environment

•             Inquisitive mindset; eager to learn and acquire knowledge

•             Fluency in Spanish is an asset

•             Working knowledge of robotics in financial services in an asset


Educational Requirements

•             Undergraduate degree



•             Will engage with stakeholders across the bank’s business units and corporate functions

•             The robotics Community of Expertise supports the bank’s stakeholders globally
