SSAI is seeking a part-time Assistant Website Editor Intern to join a fast-growing team working on an international science and education website. This individual will be a key member of The GLOBE Program (including NASA GLOBE Observer) in support of NASA and the National Science Foundation (NSF). Duties to include: Assisting the Senior Writer and Editor in: editing text and imagery and using the Liferay Content Management System (CMS) to publish news, images, events, etc. to the website. Creating and editing text and imagery for the GLOBE Program's social media channels. As well as general research of topics and taking and providing meeting notes as needed. We are looking for someone who pays attention to detail, has strong web research abilities and verbal and writing skills. Multi-tasking abilities are a plus as well.

About GLOBE: The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program is an international science and education program that provides students and the public worldwide with the opportunity to participate in data collection and the scientific process, and contribute meaningfully to our understanding of the Earth system and global environment. Required Qualifications:

* Currently attending a high school, college or University, with a GPA of 3.0 or above, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Must be at least 16 years old.
* Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, etc., or the Google equivalents (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.)
* Familiarity with photo editing tools
* Comfortable using several social media platforms and tools
* Strong command of writing style and grammar
* Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time
* Ability to work independently in a team environment both with and without supervision
* Must be detail-oriented with good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
