The Position:

In this fast paced and dynamic position, you will support senior leaders within the Quality & Technical Operations functions while also contributing to the organization of site-wide events and meetings. You have previous experience as an Administrative Assistant and have exuded a sense of urgency and passion for your work. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who demonstrates flexibility and professional maturity in readily understanding priorities and anticipating needs.

Primary Responsibilities include:

* Provide day to day administrative support to Quality and Technical Operations senior leaders in the areas of:
* Calendar management
* Expense reporting
* Travel coordination/management
* Management of contracts and vendors as needed


* Office management:
* Maintain/order office supplies and inventory
* Contribute to an exceptional onboarding experience by preparing new hire desks & supplies
* Assisting HR with onsite interviews as needed (greeting candidates, etc)


* Provide general support for a rapidly growing site
* Meeting/Event Planning:
* Plan catering for site-wide weekly lunches & socials
* Schedule/coordinate large meetings within the Andover facility
* Partner with Executive Assistant to coordinate corporate sponsored activities within the Andover facility


* Identify and implement business process improvement opportunities
* Special projects as assigned

Education and Skills Requirements:

* 3-5+ years of relevant experience
* Exceptional analytical, organizational, follow-up and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills including attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task with a willingness to perform a wide range of tasks
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high standard of confidentiality
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
* Attention to detail and ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver on the most critical assignments on time and within budget
* Experience in biotech or start-up environment (or similar fast-paced, dynamic environment) highly preferred
