The Spring Co-Op Program is a 24-week, full-time program which runsfrom January 8 - June 22, 2018.

Job Description

The Business ManagementAnalyst Co-op Role will provide the co-op an understanding of the management oftechnology. The expectation is that you will come out of this co-op with anunderstanding of how to monitor execution of business as usual activities andtechnology programs/projects in a large institution. You will also gain somedirect knowledge of Data and Corporate Functions technology and could includeexposure to banking functionality, vendors, and key compliance and regulatoryrequirements. You will create relationships within IT and Business that willhelp you grow during your co-op.

Weekly Duties:

* Funding the bank for bothOperational expense and Capital projects:
* Creating PPT with Businesscase
* Requesting funds via SAP
* Attending funding meetings
* Coordinate with CostManagement and Accounts Payable
* Regulatory and Audit workrelated to strategic initiatives within the bank - could be related to Risk,Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Audit, Legal, Security andFacilities:
* Tracking project executionfor the closure and remediation of findings
* Engaging with ProjectManagers and business partners for execution
* Tracking projectdeliverables
* Analyzing data
* Coordinating IT players orBusiness Requirements
* Risk Management Tasks:
* Monthly Vendor Managementmeetings and SLA reporting
* Vendor Risk Reviews
* Ensure Applicationinformation is correct and updated as required
* Run reporting on risksimpacting Data and Corporate Functions
* Online Training requiredto ensure compliance with bank policies

Some examples of keyactivities past co-ops have participated in:

* Assisted with a key Dataand Corporate Functions Project managing the Governance and PMO activities.
* Manage Vendor licenses andhave communication with the vendors (like Microsoft, Oracle, Wolter Klowers, SABA,Exterro, Microstrategies, etc.).
* Interact with Legal oncontract status.
* Create business case andSAP requests for funding.
* Track funding againstBudget.
* Attend meetings withBusiness and assist the Project Manager in any project life-cycle tasks.

Applicant Requirements

* Must have an expected graduation date between December 2018 - June 2019.
* Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.
* Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for theduration of the program.

* Major in Finance, Economics, Math, Business,MIS, Engineering or related field.

* Ability to work independently on special projects.
* This role does not require technical skills incoding, however, candidates with some MIS background would be preferred.
