Job Description

:

We are seeking an Intern \- Protocol Clerical Undergraduate Year Round\.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Work directly with Sandia managers, protocol officers and administrative staff to execute daily tasks required to run the protocol organization
+ Plan and execute tasks in support of meetings and events with distinguished guests

Required:

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

+ Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited undergraduate program
+ Minimum cumulative GPA of 2\.5/4\.0
+ Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
+ U\.S\. citizenship
+ Ability to work on\-site at Sandia's Livermore location
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work effectively with others
+ Very strong proficiency with all of the following Microsoft products: Explorer, Outlook, Word, Excel \(i\.e\. mail merge\), and PowerPoint
+ Excellent presentation skills
+ Proven self\-starter who can work in a flexible, fast\-paced, critical deadline, cooperative teaming atmosphere
+ Strong organizational skills

Desired:

+ Pursuing a Bachelo'sr degree in Hospitality Management, Project Management or Business Administration or closely related field of study
+ Experience working in the hospitality field
+ Proficiency with the following Microsoft products: SharePoint, Project, InfoPath, and Publisher

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\) granted Q\-level security clearance\.
