If so, we want you to join us as the Senior Manager of Human Resources Business Partners \(HRBP\)\. In this position, you will oversee and lead members of the HR Business Partner organization, providing strategic direction that aligns with Sandia’s vision and mission objectives\.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition and disciplinary actions\.
+ Ensure that client/customer needs are satisfied safely and securely, through managing and coordinating specific deliverables, overall program and project plans, budgets, structures, schedules, and staffing requirements\.
+ Balance the acquisition and development of manager and staff resources, capabilities, and existing and future projects or programs\.
+ Plan, organize, and direct human resources functions\.
+ Provide technical assistance and expertise to line managers in the development and execution of HR\-related policies, procedures, programs, and systems\.
+ Guide the work of the HRBP organization\.
+ Apply mission knowledge and experience to independently judge work quality, performance, and alignment of results with customer expectations\.
+ Lead development of customer relations and funding for the organization, ensuring alignment to the strategic plan\.
+ Guide HRBP managers and staff in connecting their work to customer needs, organizational goals, and Sandia's mission\.
+ Support the Sr\. Director of HR in crafting an organizational vision and objectives that are consistent with Sandia’s strategic plan and customer expectations\.
+ Assist in planning and coordinating a diverse range of HR activities, new initiatives, and systems and processes within and across the group\.
+ Partner with HR Director and Sr\. Director to design and implement the proposed HR Support Services organization\.
+ Counsel and assist employees and management on government legislation, U\.S\. Department of Energy contract compliance, and Sandia policies or procedures to ensure compliance\.
+ Develop HR activities or programs to be implemented throughout the organization, defines procedures and processes, and establishes safeguards, as appropriate\.
+ Build and develop a robust and mature HRBP/HRG model across Sandia and support efforts across the DOE complex\.
+ Recruit, select, and retain business leadership and HR talent\.
+ Provide mentoring to executives and managers\.
+ Lead MRR \(Management Resource Review\) process, salary planning and performance management through the functions and divisional units\.
+ Maintain a pulse on all leadership and labor/employee relations issues and work as a key player in these activities\.
+ Provide HR consultation services for increased organizational effectiveness including assessment, contracting, action planning, evaluation and follow\-up\.
+ Actively partner with functional and business leaders to establish, implement and assess short term and long term HR strategies for driving business results\.
+ Help drive HR functional initiatives \(e\.g\. functional excellence, career pathing, leadership top grading, bench strength improvements\)\.
+ Provide organizational design expertise and change management facilitation to functions\.
+ Provide talent management expertise, workforce planning, skills assessment, succession planning, HRBP training programs, etc\.


+ Bachelor degree in business, human resources, or technical discipline\.
+ 10 years of experience in a HR leadership position\.


+ Master’s degree in business, human resources, or technical discipline\.
+ Multi\-industry and multi\-location HR experience\.
+ Experience in both union and union\-free environments\.
+ Defense and commercial experience\.
+ Labor relations skills\.
+ Active DOE/DOD security clearance\.

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\) granted Q\-level security clearance\.
